One-Stop Before and After School Programme for Chinese Primary School Students, Providing homework guidance, tuition and daycare.
At MyGenius Primary, we understand the importance of providing a safe, clean and nurturing learning environment for our primary school going children.
The children typically spend close to 12 hours away from their home daily, whereby half of the time is spent at their primary school and the other half is spent at our centre. Hence, we aim to create a centre environment that is a home away from home for them.
Whether the children are with us in the morning for before-school care or in the afternoon for after-school care, we aim to give parents peace of mind, especially for working parents.
During the daily tuition and homework guidance sessions, we encourage our children to think critically and take an active role in the learning process.
They learn how to acquire knowledge instead of just passing exams. This eventually leads to improving their interest in their study.
Every air-conditioned classroom is equipped with either a smartboard, smart TV or an overhead projector to enhance the children’s learning experience.
Our teachers are trained to use MyGenius Creative Teaching method to make the lessons fun, engaging and easily understood by our students. That’s why our children enjoy their learning journey!
Our caring teachers are trained in children’s education related fields. All of them have teaching permits from the Ministry of Education. They are our full-time staff who choose teaching as their first-choice career!
Our dedicated central R&D Team keeps track of the latest changes to school syllabus & exam format, ensuring our teaching materials and content are always up to date. They also train our teachers regularly and monitor the quality of their teaching. This ensures every lesson is taught in a consistent way and follow the Chinese Primary School syllabus.
We are registered under the Ministry of Education (MOE). This means our programme is aligned with the Chinese Primary school syllabus. We have passed the stringent requirement set by the MOE, including class size and student numbers.
For selected school locations, we engage licensed school bus transporter to pick the students up from school to our centres. Students travel in a safe, comfortable and air-conditioned school bus or van. Our teachers will be at school daily during pick-up time to ensure the safety of all our students.
Our centres are equipped with proper showering facilities, a mini library and play area. Depending on their school hours, our children get to take their shower and warm healthy meals at the centre before going to school or upon returning from school.
Our school app allows parents to follow their child’s day at our centre through regular updates on their children’s learning progress & behavior. Parents are notified through our School App when their child checks-in & out of our centre.
All Standard 1 to Standard 6 children will also undergo regular assessment at our centre to gauge their learning progress. This also prepares the children well for their school assessments.
An overall performance report will be prepared for parents. Every child’s performance will be discussed with parents during our half-yearly parent-teacher meetings.
MyGenius aims to instil good moral upbringing and character building in our children from a young age. This is done through our children’s daily life practices and experience at our centre.
Our holiday programme theme is centered around learning and building new skills in a fun & creative way. Activities include field trips, proprietary board games, soft skill development, character building, friendly contests and event celebrations.
