Whether to prepare for HSK or Cambridge IGCSE, or simply to learn Mandarin as an additional language, MyGenius Mandarin Programme is a Mandarin language learning programme that is suitable for all.
Researched and developed in-house by a team of passionate Mandarin linguists and educators, it is a comprehensive Mandarin learning programme structured to captivate the interest of learners in learning the world’s most spoken language.
The programme is based on Beijing Mandarin learning syllabus and consist of 12 different levels.
The programme exposes students to the following 6 key areas:
Our students will learn to recognize Chinese characters, read, listen and speak with proper pronunciation in Mandarin. For writings, they will be trained on the strokes (bi hua), strokes order (bi shun) and radicals (bu shou).
It is a fun programme that caters to both Mandarin speaking students and those from non-Mandarin speaking family background.
HSK and Cambridge IGCSE Mandarin
HSK or Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, is an international standardized examination from China that is used to test the Mandarin language proficiency of non-native speakers such as foreign students and overseas Chinese. It assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using the Mandarin language in their daily, academic and professional lives.
HSK consists of 6 levels with HSK Level 6 being the highest level. Our students can choose to sit for the different HSK levels upon completing the corresponding MyGenius Mandarin Programme levels.
Similarly, our programme can help to prepare students from International Schools to sit for their Cambridge IGCSE Mandarin papers.
