At MyGenius Primary, we understand the importance of providing a safe, clean and nurturing learning environment for our primary school going children.
The children typically spends close to 12 hours away from their home daily, whereby half of the time is spent at their primary school and the other half is spent at our centre. Hence, we aim to create a centre environment that is a home away from home for them.
Whether the children are with us in the morning for before school care or in the afternoon for after school care, we aim to give parents a peace of mind, especially for working parents.

What is the learning method used?
Our programme is built around MyGenius education philosophy of providing a well balanced learning and development to our children in a manner that unleash their potential. This means, we place equal emphasis on academic; moral upbringing and character building; social and living skills.
These are key differentiation that set us apart from ordinary daycare or tuition centres.
1) KNOWLEDGE ACQUISITION (Homework Guidance, Tuition and Exam Preparation)
Our team of caring and dedicated teachers bring with them teaching experience in the SJKC KSSR syllabus. They understand the syllabus and the overall learning needs of our children well.
During the daily homework coaching and tuition sessions, we encourage our children to think critically and take an active role in the learning process. They learn how to acquire knowledge instead of just passing exam. This eventually leads to improving their interest in their study.
All Standard 1 to Standard 6 children will also undergo half-yearly assessment at our centre to gauge their learning progress. An overall performance report will be prepared for parents. Every child’s performance will be discussed with parents during our parent-teacher meetings.
2) MORAL AND CHARACTER BUILDING
High standard of ethics forms an important aspect of our value-based education. This culture starts from our team of carefully selected teachers. MyGenius aims to instill good moral upbringing and character building in our children from a young age. This is done through our children’s daily life practices and experience at our centre; inspirational learning through stories and sharing; Di Zi Gui and guidance from our teachers.
3) SOCIAL & LIFE SKILLS
Our children learn to live and function as a community through effective interactions with the teachers and their peers in all aspect of their daily life at the centre. This helps our children to be sociable as they learn to respect and care for each other, preparing them well to enter into the society.
4) JOYFUL ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES
It is never too old for children of primary school going age to still play. Our programme incorporates an element of play and experiential learning as part of their overall development. This includes board games, chess, team games, role play, talent time, culinary activities, outings and recycling just to name a few. The various Malaysian festivities celebration is also a key highlight at our centre.
Through meaningful play and activities, our children develop their critical thinking, problem solving skills and social skills. At the same time, it helps to build their self-confidence, self-control and good character. They also develop an appreciation for the society and the environment.
MEAL TIME!
What do you serve for the children's meals?
We place great importance to our children’s overall health and well being through healthy eating habit. Our healthy menu consist of a variety of freshly prepared meals that stretched for several weeks without repetition. Every meal is a balanced diet without added MSG. Our food is suitable for Muslim children. Vegetarian and nut free options are available too.

My child is very fussy with food and doesn’t finish his meals most of the time. Can you help him?
Yes we can! We happen to be very good at training our children to finish up their meals portion on their own, including vegetables!
We take our drinking water seriously too!
Each of our kindergarten is installed with a high capacity external water filter and an imported internal water filter unit, providing clean and safe water on demand.SAFETY, SECURITY AND HEALTH OF CHILDREN
We take the safety, security and health of our children very seriously.
All our centres come with multi-tiered security and access system. Every classrooms, space and corridors are under 24 hour CCTV surveillance which can be monitored centrally.
Our centres comply with BOMBA requirement and are equipped with fire fighting facilities.
We adopt a strict policy of handing over our children only to known persons pre-authorised by the children’s parents or guardians.
Do you allow sick child to come to the centre?
It is inevitable that children do get sick some times.
At MyGenius, we have strict health and hygiene policy in handling contagious disease.
Daily disinfectant routine is carried out by our staff while regular preventive disinfectant services is provided by professional company. Additionally, every child are screened through and have their temperature taken daily upon arrival at the centre. Children who are found to be unwell will be denied admission until he or she recovers.
A doctor’s clearance letter will be required upon recovery from serious contagious disease before the child is permitted to return to the centre.
It is therefore no wonder that we have extremely high daily attendance rate!
